Welcome to

is it possible for a personal website to not feel narcissistic?

There's a lake. It's technically private, but strangers visit every once in a while. The water isn't very clear, the best it'll give you is a distorted reflection. Under the surface, however, the lake is teeming with life. I've been fishing here as far back as I can remember. Caught plenty over the years, but it's mostly been a mix of instinct and luck. Welcome to ameet.xyz, the scuba gear of this overextended metaphor. The goal: to wade through and un-muddy the water of my mind. As I think and do, I'll deposit the minerals that surface, and hopefully over time some patterns will emerge that can help me figure out who I am, for the moment at least.

Thinking

1.

Is monogamy evolutionarily beneficial, socially ingrained, both, or neither?

2.

People don't think about the moon enough...do you believe in horoscopes?

3.

Can intentionally inhibiting certain sense improve others?

4.

Everyone should keep an "If I die" / personal obituary log, regardless of their age.
